Boulder River in Montana metal print by Les Herman.   Bring your artwork to life with the stylish lines and added depth of a metal print. Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. While my son was fly fishing, I sat down and decided to do a watercolor. Being in Montana doesn't get any better.

About Les Herman

Les Herman

Les spent his childhood exploring the rim rocks surrounding Billings, Montana and in his teen years he had the good fortune of calling the North Entrance to Yellowstone Park, Gardiner, MT his home. He served in Vietnam in 1969-70 and returned to Yellowstone Park where he began his Federal career as a fire lookout on Mt.Holmes. He received his B.F.A. from the University of Montana in 1978 while working summers in Yellowstone. He had a 33 year career with the federal government in aviation support and wildland fire suppression. This provided opportunities to travel to some of the most inspiring and beautiful places in this country and the world. Les never left home without his sketch pad and watercolor kit.
