Our greeting cards are 5" x 7" in size and are produced on digital offset printers using 100 lb. paper stock. Each card is coated with a UV protectant on the outside surface which produces a semi-gloss finish. The inside of each card has a matte white finish and can be customized with your own message up to 500 characters in length. Each card comes with a white envelope for mailing or gift giving.

DescriptionStarting 2019, painting a series of small studies depicting the daily walk on the Boise River Greenbelt. Painting with gouache, an opaque watermedia. Paint consistis of natural pigment, water and a bonding agent (usually gum arabic), similar to watercolor without the transparency. Paintings are on Arches watercolor board. Original painting is for sale.
Les spent his childhood exploring the rim rocks surrounding Billings, Montana and in his teen years he had the good fortune of calling the North Entrance to Yellowstone Park, Gardiner, MT his home. He served in Vietnam in 1969-70 and returned to Yellowstone Park where he began his Federal career as a fire lookout on Mt.Holmes. He received his B.F.A. from the University of Montana in 1978 while working summers in Yellowstone. He had a 33 year career with the federal government in aviation support and wildland fire suppression. This provided opportunities to travel to some of the most inspiring and beautiful places in this country and the world. Les never left home without his sketch pad and watercolor kit.
